At IsraMizug we believe everyone should be able to use our site comfortably and equally. We have invested effort in making the site accessible to people with disabilities, in line with the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Accessibility Adjustments to Services) Regulations, 2013.
Level of accessibility
The site was made accessible following Israeli standard IS 5568, which is based on the WCAG 2.0 guidelines at level AA, and aiming to meet WCAG 2.1 level AA as well. The site works in common browsers and on mobile devices.
What we did
- Full keyboard navigation, including a “skip to main content” link and a clear focus indicator
- A hierarchical heading structure and landmark regions (navigation, main content, footer)
- Alternative text for images that carry information, and decorative images hidden from screen readers
- Sufficient colour contrast between text and background
- Forms with clear labels, required-field markers and detailed error messages
- Interactive components, such as dropdown menus, tabs and the FAQ, usable with a keyboard and a screen reader
- Respect for the system “reduce motion” setting, and an option to stop animations
- Support for text zoom up to 200% without loss of content
- The site is available in Hebrew and English, with full right-to-left and left-to-right support
The accessibility menu
The accessibility button sits in the corner of the screen. The menu lets you increase and decrease the text size, turn on high contrast, highlight links and stop animations. Your settings are stored on your device for future visits.
Limitations
Despite our efforts, some parts of the site may not be fully accessible, for example third-party content on services the site links to. We keep testing and improving the site’s accessibility. If you run into a problem, we would be glad to hear about it.
Accessibility of the service itself
IsraMizug does not receive customers at an office; the service is provided at the customer’s home or business. We are reachable by phone and WhatsApp 24/7, so you can contact us at any hour and by whichever channel suits you. If you need any adjustment when scheduling or during the visit, tell us in your enquiry and we will be glad to help.
Accessibility coordinator and enquiries
The person responsible for accessibility at the business is Israel Vaaknin. Found an accessibility problem, or have a suggestion? Get in touch and we will help. So that we can handle it properly, please describe the problem, the page where you found it and your browser and device.
